Nonprofit programs should choose eyewear format from the service setting and distribution workflow, not from retail display logic alone.
Smaller or countertop-style formats work when
- the program is mobile
- distribution occurs at events or temporary sites
- storage and transportation are limited
- the pilot population is small
Larger floor or fixed formats work when
- the organization has a recurring service site
- participant volume is high enough to justify more assortment breadth
- inventory can remain securely stored on site
- staff can replenish and track utilization consistently
Program operation comes first
The right format should make eyewear easy to organize, distribute, count, and replenish within the funded program period.
