Bring Practical Vision Access to the People You Already Serve
Major Frames partners with nonprofits, community organizations, health programs, and public agencies to add nonprescription reading glasses and sunglasses to outreach they already operate.
Your organization knows the community. We know eyewear.
Together, we can turn an overlooked everyday need into a practical service that is easy to understand, easy to distribute, and built to grow.
Add eyewear to services that are already in motion.
- Reach people through programs and relationships you already have
- Let Major Frames handle the eyewear assortment and supply side
- Start at a scale that makes sense for your organization
- Replenish, repeat, and expand when the program proves useful
Small Vision Barriers Can Get in the Way of Bigger Goals
Reading, navigating information, completing forms, using a phone, or simply being comfortable outdoors are everyday tasks. For people with limited access to eyewear, a simple pair of glasses can make those tasks easier.
Everyday Reading
Nonprescription readers can help adults with common near-vision needs read forms, labels, instructions, menus, phones, and other everyday materials.
Outdoor Exposure
Sunglasses can provide practical comfort and sun protection for people who spend significant time outdoors, when appropriate product specifications are used.
Simple Access
Eyewear is portable, familiar, and easy to place into nonclinical community settings without creating a new service department.
You Keep Doing What You Do Best. So Do We.
The model works because neither side has to reinvent itself.
Your Organization Brings
- Trusted relationships with the community
- Existing outreach, programs, events, or service locations
- Knowledge of the people and needs you see every day
- The team that delivers the program in the field
Major Frames Brings
- Decades of eyewear experience
- Reading glasses and sunglasses
- Assortment and quantity planning
- Inventory, fulfillment, and replenishment
- Support for larger or multi-site programs

One Program Can Become a Repeatable Community Resource
A Vision Access Partnership does not have to end after one distribution. A useful program can be replenished, repeated, expanded to new locations, or incorporated into annual and sponsor-supported initiatives.
Two Hypothetical Programs. Two Very Different Community Needs.
Our sample case studies show how the same partnership model can adapt to different populations and service settings.

Major Frames is part of a family-owned eyewear business with roots dating to 1986. We already maintain the inventory, product knowledge, fulfillment systems, and replenishment capability needed to support eyewear programs at very different scales.
That means your organization can focus on the community while we focus on keeping the eyewear side practical and dependable.
What that means for a partner
- Established eyewear supply and fulfillment
- Assortment planning based on the program and population
- Support for recurring replenishment
- Ability to plan for larger quantities and multiple sites
- A long-term supplier relationship instead of a one-time giveaway
Could Vision Access Fit the People You Already Serve?
Tell us about your organization, the community you reach, and what you have in mind. We can talk through what a practical eyewear partnership could look like.
A Few Basics
Does Major Frames provide grants?
No. Major Frames is the eyewear supply partner. Organizations use the funding sources and program structures that fit their own work.
Do we need funding in place before contacting Major Frames?
No. You can contact us while an idea is still taking shape or after a program has already been approved.
Can a program start small?
Yes. Programs can begin with a focused population, event, site, or pilot and expand when there is a reason to do so.
Can a Vision Access Partnership become recurring?
Yes. Replenishment, repeat distributions, additional locations, and ongoing programs are all possible.
Is this an eye exam or prescription service?
No. Vision Access Partnerships are intended for appropriate direct distribution of nonprescription eyewear. Major Frames does not provide eye exams, diagnose vision conditions, or prescribe eyewear through this program.
Are program products intended for resale?
No. Vision Access Partnership arrangements are intended for approved direct-distribution community programs and are separate from Major Frames' standard wholesale resale business.
Programs may be supported through grants, sponsorships, community-benefit initiatives, donor funding, or existing program budgets depending on the organization. Major Frames does not guarantee funding or eligibility.
