Train staff to reset an eyewear display with one short routine that can be completed in minutes. The goal is consistency, not a detailed visual-merchandising project every time.
Use the same reset sequence
- Return misplaced frames to the correct category or reader power.
- Identify empty or nearly empty positions.
- Refill from accessible backstock.
- Remove damaged product and note unexplained losses.
- Flag positions that need a reorder.
- Wipe the mirror and straighten basic signage.
Make the fixture self-explanatory
Labels should tell staff where product belongs. If resetting requires memorizing individual styles, the display system is too complicated.
Assign a realistic cadence
High-traffic stores may need quick resets several times a week or more. Lower-volume stores may combine the reset with a scheduled inventory review.
Escalate repeated problems
If the same powers or styles are always empty, do not only refill them. Change the reorder depth or service timing.
